Call for Workshop Paper

Scheduled for April 2026 in Nanjing, the Global 6G Conference will adopt a more open and inclusive approach, featuring a comprehensively upgraded content framework. The event aims to actively engage research scholars, teams, and emerging forces in the field, collectively fostering the expansion of 6G development perspectives and the evolution of ideas.

A dedicated Workshop segment will be introduced during the conference, calling for Workshop proposals publicly from global research institutions and individual experts.

Target Applicants

01

The Workshop segment  is open to proposals from global research institutions and individual experts. Submitted Workshops must focus on specific technical directions within 6G-related fields, possessing clear research focus and academic depth. Selected proposals will be integrated into the official conference program, contributing to a diverse, participatory, and co-created 6G academic ecosystem.

Guiding Principles

02
  • Workshops are academic seminars dedicated to in-depth discussion on a specific hot topic. Broad, all-encompassing themes should be avoided. Thematically specific topics are preferred for selection, such as "Direct Satellite-to-Mobile Connectivity," "On-board Phased Array," "Massive MIMO," "New Multiple Access for 6G," "New Coding for 6G," and "New Waveforms for 6G Sensing."Workshops should utilize a Call for Papers (CFP) model for speaker/presentation recruitment, emphasizing academic rigor and cutting-edge relevance.

  • Regular papers accepted for presentation at a Workshop must not exceed 6 pages (including all figures, tables, and references). Each accepted paper must be presented in person at the Workshop by one of its authors.

  • Workshop organizers are encouraged to establish collaborations with high-quality domestic and international academic journals to create linkages such as paper submission, recommendation of excellent papers, and fast-track publication channels.

  • The call is open globally to institutions and individual experts, regardless of affiliation or background, supporting transnational, cross-institutional, and interdisciplinary organization.

  • The accepted proposal team will be responsible for assisting in Workshop promotion, issuing the CFP, organizing paper review and selection, and formulating the Workshop agenda. To ensure high-quality interaction and discussion, the Workshop Chair and at least one Vice-Chair must attend the conference in person.

  • Workshops are encouraged to incorporate elements like paper review, publication, case studies, or result announcements to create distinctive communication modules.
